This is my favorite metal album of all time. The only bad thing is that the vocals are somewhat buried in the mix. Otherwise, the record perfectly blends a mix of metal genres with excellent songcraft. A record you'll listen to again and again.

I LOVE THIS RECORD! Does it offer anything new & original? No... but when it sounds this good, who cares? (not me) Does the band sound like a British Dream Theater? Uh-huh - quite a bit. So what? The songs (except the insipid "New Times Awaken") are good, and the singer is at least as impressive as James LaBrie once was. Both Lost in Thought & Germany's Dreamscape briefly made the kind of records the sadly fallible DT stopped making in 2003. Favourite song: "Delusional Abyss" RECOMMENDED

I remember hearing this album way back when it just came out, listening to it on YT on repeat. And now I have it in 2022 on CD! Excellent for fans of prog metal, with a nice balance of genres.
