This song was added at the last minute, to give more length to the album. It turned out to be our new direction and one of the best songs on the album.
lyrics
Now that I'm done wasting the days,
I'll make them fade away.
Serene tides lead my sight.
I'll keep a part of myself from your little lie,
Still, I can't go away, till the end of play.
Turn and see what I made when you left here,
You might find downward tides carry your song,
Summer eyes, freely falling, now lead into the earth.
Waiting for me, let the story end here,
So many things leave me.
Too resigned my life unfolds
And I play the nodobdy, someone I don't know.
I'm still afraid to stare into your eyes,
I'll start believing, see me in a different light.
I'll keep a part of myself from your little lie,
Still, I can't break away till the end.
Turn and see what I made when you left here,
You might find downward tides carry your song,
Summer eyes, freely falling, now lead into the earth.

Combining influences from the world of metal with music from further afield, Eumeria is known for songs that can be both heavy and aggressive in places yet equally intimate and reflective.
This is my favorite metal album of all time. The only bad thing is that the vocals are somewhat buried in the mix. Otherwise, the record perfectly blends a mix of metal genres with excellent songcraft. A record you'll listen to again and again. The Real Nick House
I LOVE THIS RECORD!
Does it offer anything new & original? No... but when it sounds this good, who cares? (not me) Does the band sound like a British Dream Theater? Uh-huh - quite a bit. So what? The songs (except the insipid "New Times Awaken") are good, and the singer is at least as impressive as James LaBrie once was. Both Lost in Thought & Germany's Dreamscape briefly made the kind of records the sadly fallible DT stopped making in 2003. Favourite song: "Delusional Abyss"

The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024
I remember hearing this album way back when it just came out, listening to it on YT on repeat. And now I have it in 2022 on CD! Excellent for fans of prog metal, with a nice balance of genres. PunkGalFury
